✅Did you know cholesterol is one of the most vital molecules necessary for our brain, endocrine glands, adrenals, sex glands, immune system, and lungs? Yes, it is true.

✅Did you also know that ALL the steroid hormones that regulate our bodily systems are made from cholesterol? These include:

● Testosterone,

● Progesterone,

● Pregnenolone,

● Estradiol (estrogen), and

● Cortisol

Oh, it’s true. It’s all true!

Cholesterol Functions and Structure

The ‘Cholesterol Hypothesis’ Debunked

The idea of cholesterol clogging up your arteries and causing heart disease comes from the Diet-Heart hypothesis first proposed in 1953.

While it was scientifically debunked and proven WRONG many times by hundreds of scientific studies, the medical, political, and scientific establishments were fully committed to it.

To admit they were wrong would do too much damage to their reputation, so they are not in a hurry to change their view. And NOW, almost everyone thinks cholesterol is evil

The truth is, we cannot live without it!

I believe it is essential for you to understand this truth so that you don’t become alarmed when a doctor tells you your cholesterol level is too high.

LDL Interaction and Immune Defense

🌟 Cholesterol: The Essential Molecule

Every cell of every organ has cholesterol as part of its structure. It is an integral part of our cell walls and membranes. Different cells in our bodies need different amounts depending on their purpose, but our brain is the most cholesterol-rich organ, and 25% is cholesterol.

Human breast milk provides a lot of cholesterol, and there is even a specific enzyme that ensures babies get all of it. If infants are deprived of cholesterol, they have eye and brain issues.

This essential molecule is produced in our glands but comes from the bloodstream. Our liver maintains blood cholesterol and manufactures and packages it in LDL, sending it to the bloodstream to be delivered to our organs.

But wait, isn’t LDL bad? It depends on your perspective.

Did you know LDL, also known as low-density lipoprotein, is known as enemy #1, but this cholesterol directly binds and deactivates dangerous bacterial toxins, preventing them from causing damage?

Staph infections in hospitals, which cause MRSA and dissolve red blood cells, do not do so in the presence of LDL!

Forget Statins. Eat Your Eggs and Bacon!

Statins, the typical treatment to reduce blood cholesterol, have been making MRSA a common problem in hospitals. This is a standard prescription for those who have been told they have high cholesterol.

These medicines are also known to cause damage to the liver, depriving the body of essential life and resulting in a cascade of issues, particularly our memory!

In fact, there is a book called Lipitor, Thief of Memory, Statin Drugs and the Misguided War on Cholesterol by Duane Graveline, MD and former NASA scientist that can tell you more.

FACT: We need to consume cholesterol from the highest quality grass fed, grass finished, organic/pasture raised sources only found in animals. Hello! organ meats, animal fat, eggs, and bacon!

Eat Saturated Fats the Healthy Way: Graze on Organic-Only Food

Immune cells rely on cholesterol for fighting infections and repairing themselves after the fight. Before antibiotics were discovered, tuberculosis was treated with raw eggs and heavy fresh cream.

Our adrenal glands need plenty of cholesterol to make adrenaline, cortisol and other hormones. To cope with daily stress, we need a full spectrum of hormones. If we wear out our adrenal glands, other glands, like the thyroid, will likely be worn out, too!

The lungs require large amounts of fats, fat-soluble vitamins, cholesterol and other substances to function, and saturated fats are essential for lung health.

Yep, I said it: SATURATED FATS!

Eggs, Meat, Dairy, Organs, Pork. As stated above, the important thing is to buy the freshest and cleanest animal by-products you can. Organic, pasture-raised, and grass-fed ONLY. Otherwise, you may be eating more toxins!

Our lungs also take in fat-soluble toxins like mercury, aluminum, and lead. When the lungs are overloaded due to the lack of cholesterol, they get damaged, causing all types of infections.

The bad fats are hydrogenated fats or partially hydrogenated fats or oils. These come from processed foods and vegetable oils, canola and soybean or palm oil. Skip the salad dressing if you are unsure what kind of oil it is made with. Lot’s of added ingredients hiding in pre-made dressings. EVOO, and an acid like vinegar, or lemon plus sea salt and pepper makes a great dressing!

Just read the package of your snacks and see if they list any of these ingredients. If they do, they are the bad fats.

Healthy fats and cholesterol foods eggs, organ meats, and grass-fed dairy.

Don’t Hold Back the Yolks!

Finally, let's also talk about eggs. This is another food that has gotten good and bad press. Egg yolks provide the most essential amino acids, vitamins, essential fatty acids, zinc, magnesium, and many other nutrients.

They are rich in:

● Choline an essential amino acid for our liver, and is the building block of our neurotransmitters that send messages to our brain.

● B12 an essential vitamin for the nervous system.

Your brain is a very fatty organ, and its tissues are rich in cholesterol. It requires much good quality fat and cholesterol to be adequately fed.

While the body manufactures cholesterol, food is an important source. There is no cholesterol in plants. So vegans beware and eat dairy and eggs.

I hope this opens your awareness to the truth about the importance of cholesterol. Measuring total cholesterol is not significant. What matters is the ratio between the total and your high-density lipoprotein (HDL).

If you are told your cholesterol level is too high, the easiest fix is to stop eating processed foods, rancid oils, and fried food. Look at the label on a package. If the first five ingredients name anything you don’t understand, don’t eat it.

Your brain and body need cholesterol, so don't be so quick to hop on medication, thinking it makes you healthier.
